Association of Green Universities of Russia is an all-Russian association of universities that realize environmental practices and promote principles of sustainable development. The Association includes student teams from 85 Russian universities, including Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO), Moscow State University, Saint Petersburg State University, People’s Friendship University of Russia, Higher Schools of Economics, Southern Federal University, Baltic Federal University, etc.

The Association works in the following directions:
– annual student ecological quests
– regular Days of Common Action
– online schools of “green” universities’ mentors
– webinars on realization of eco-initiatives in universities
– In 2020, the Association also launched the first Russian ranking of “green” universities.
