Enactus is a competition program that brings together students carrying out business projects, and business leaders, with the goal to support student entrepreneurial projects aimed at solving economic, environmental and social problems. The program creates a set of opportunities and incentives for the development of entrepreneurial competencies. The competition involves social commercial and non-profit projects that contribute to the implementation of 17 UN sustainable development goals.
NOSU and Enactus
NOSU first participated in the competition in 2019. The NOSU team presented three projects at the competition:
- Production of individual toothpastes (NOSU created a unique technology for the production of toothpastes: link, Report on individual toothpaste in Russia 1 – Alania: link).
- Installation of skatepark in Vladikavkaz;
- A mobile historical and ethnographic museum.
- Having successfully presented the projects at the regional step in Rostov-on-Don, the team took part in the national step in Moscow. The project on individual toothpaste production won in “Best Project” nomination, and the team became a winter in “Debut of the Year” nomination.
