Alán Uruzmágovich Ogóyev (born in Ordzhonikidza (present day Vladikavkaz) on 21 January 1978) – Russian economist, doctor in economic science, professor. On 11 April 2017 appointed as Rector of K. L. Khetagurov North Ossetia State University.
- Biography
In 1999, he finished his studies cum laude at the School of Economics of K. L. Khetagurov North Ossetia State University specializing in Finances and Credit.
From 2003 to 2009 he worked as specialist, was the Head of the Investment Planning and Monitoring Division, Deputy Chief of the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania’s National Bank. From 2004, he lectured at North Ossetia State University in the capacity of senior educator, lecturer and later professor of the International Economic Relations Department. From 2009 Vice Rector in finances and economics.
In 2008, he completed the Financial Academy under the Government of the Russian Federation cum laude with an added qualification of Master of Business Administration.
In the fourth term of 2008, he was chosen as MP of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania.
From 2011, he was Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania in a temporarily capacity.
On 8 October 2015 appointed Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania by presidential decree 53. His term lasted until 22 July 2016.
From 22 July 2016 Acting Vice Rector of K. L. Khetagurov NOSU.
11 April elected Rector of K. L. Khetagurov NOSU.
Merited Scientist of the Republic of South Ossetia.
