International students may enroll at the university to study a bachelor, specialization, master, internship or PhD program.

Enrolling for the first year of Bachelor and Specialization Programs, Master or Internship Programs and PhD Programs for foreign applicants begins on June 20, 2020 and will be carried out in remote access on NOSU online platform for the submission of applications http://enroll.nosu.ru/
- Enrolling for a Bachelor or Specialization Program
In order to enroll for a bachelor or specialization program, foreign applicants need to have proof they have successfully completed their secondary education. This needs to be confirmed by the relevant documents (qualification, certificate, diploma) allowing them to receive higher education at a Russian tertiary institution. - Enrolling for a Master or Internship Program
In order to be admitted to the Master or Internship program foreign applicants need to be in possession of proof of higher education, a bachelor degree or specialization diploma, or a document from their government stating that the level of education and (or) qualification is acknowledged in the Russian Federation. (Concerning the requirements for foreign education documents, please, refer to the Main Expert Center of the Federal State Budget Institution’s website https://www.nic.gov.ru/, click on the Acceptance Procedure tab.)
- Enrolling for a PhD Program
In order to be admitted to the PhD program foreign applicants need to be in possession of proof of higher education, specialization or a master degree or specialization diploma, or a document from their government stating that the level of education and (or) qualification is acknowledged in the Russian Federation. (Concerning the requirements for foreign education documents, please, refer to the Main Expert Center of the Federal State Budget Institution’s website https://www.nic.gov.ru/, click on the Acceptance Procedure tab.)
Citizens of foreign governments referred by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, are accepted without entrance tests. To stand a chance of being referred by the Ministry of Science and Higher education of the Russian Federation, please contact Rossotrudnichestvo or go to the Russia Study website.
Foreign applicants need to supply ALL of the following documents:
- Proof of education, listing the subjects taken and marks achieved. (The original document with a notary certified Russian translation is compulsory. The translation is checked by the Russian notary office or consulate of the Russian Federation in the country where the document of education was issued).
- Proof of acknowledgement of the foreign government’s document pertaining to the level of education and (or) qualifications, issued by the Federal Education and Science Control Service of Russia (in the absence of an international agreement of mutual acceptance of education documents). - A national passport (with a compulsory notary certified Russian translation. The translation is checked by the Russian notary office or consulate of the Russian Federation in the country where the passport was issued), an entry visa, a migration card.
- A photo in digital format
NB!
After arriving at NOSU a foreign applicant needs to supply the following documents:
- Original documents
- A medical certificate
- Proof the applicant has tested negative for HIV.
