More than 80 foreign nationals from various corners of the world have become students at the North Ossetian State University named after K.L. Khetagurov. Young people from neighboring countries such as Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and Armenia chose NOSU for quality education and to learn about the cultural heritage of our republic.
The students showed the greatest preference for fields such as pedagogical education with two profiles: “Physics. Mathematics” and “Chemistry. Biology,” as well as programs in geography, biology, and physics.
Additionally, under a quota from the Government of the Russian Federation, students from Georgia, Cameroon, and Guinea have joined NOSU. This indicates the growing popularity of the university among youth abroad.
Moreover, in 2024, 38 foreign graduates continued their studies in the master’s program at NOSU. The most sought-after areas of the master’s program turned out to be “Foreign Regional Studies,” “History,” Pedagogical Education with a focus on “Individualization of Physical Development,” and “Urban Planning.”
In total, 185 foreign students are studying in higher education programs at NOSU.
