As part of the implementation of the school of ethno-cultural adaptation, the head of the psychology department, Madina Khudalova, conducted a psychological training and survey of international students to identify the barriers that young people face in the urban and university environment.
Language barriers, new climatic conditions, cultural and national traditions – all these factors can complicate the adaptation processes. How not to get lost in the multitasking of educational processes? How can diverse cultural traditions, values, and beliefs create an atmosphere of friendship and mutual respect? These and many other topics were discussed during the training.
The session was conducted in an interactive format and aimed at effective collaboration and mutual understanding among the group of students, improving intercultural communication skills, increasing confidence in communication, and overcoming communicative barriers.
The event was organized by the Coordination Center of NOSU
