The museum traditionally conducts important educational activities: it organizes various exhibitions and thematic events dedicated to significant events in the history and culture of Ossetia, serving as a cultural center and a place of attraction for youth, representatives of the scientific community, and all those interested in the history of Ossetia.

The museum’s collection consists of over 300,000 exhibits. Among them are unique gold artifacts from Scythian-Sarmatian burial sites and mounds dating back to the 6th-2nd centuries BC. The most famous items belong to the “collection of the Sarmatian priestess” from the 1st century BC.

The museum visit left only pleasant memories, and thanks to the guide, the international students learned more about the history of Ossetia.

The museum visit was organized by the Coordination Center as part of the School of Ethno-Cultural Adaptation for International Students
