During the summer break, foreign students, together with the Center for International Cooperation of K.L. Khetagurov North Ossetian State University, visited the horse theater “Narty.” The event took place as part of the Ethnocultural Adaptation School initiative by the Coordination Center.
The students witnessed horseback riding with elements of the famous Ossetian dzhigitovka, choreography, dramaturgy, vocal, and circus arts. They even became actors for a time, performing a scene involving the kidnapping of a bride.
“Before the event, we were given a tour and learned about the history of the theater. I was very interested to find out new things about the history of Ossetia. We watched the performance ‘Legends Return.’ I was delighted. I want to express my gratitude for introducing us to yet another part of Ossetian culture,” commented Aichmen Azadova, a 5th-year student of the Faculty of International Relations at NOSU.
