Family scholarships have been established for the first time at the North Ossetian State University named after K.L. Khetagurov.

“In 2024, the President of the country, Vladimir Putin, declared the Year of the Family. We have students who have managed to excel not only in their studies and creative endeavors but also in starting a family. We want to support such students, as a healthy and happy family is the foundation of the prosperity of the entire state,” said the rector of SOGU, Alan Ogoev.

The family scholarship is intended to be paid to students who are officially registered as married, study in-person, and have a child. Each parent will receive 10,000 rubles, and an additional 5,000 rubles is allocated for each child.

Eight families have been awarded the family scholarship in the university.
